A vehicle that caught on fire Saturday evening at Gallion Town Road in Victoria was extinguished by Victoria Fire & Rescue (VFR).
VFR Captain Jeramiah Fix said Tuesday the cause of the fire to the vehicle is unknown.
“The car was going down the road and it cut off,” Fix said.
Fix said the driver of the vehicle “noticed smoke and fire coming out from under it.” Fix said the department used a hose line located at the front of the fire engine to extinguish the vehicle fire. He estimated the fire was put out a few minutes after crew arrived on scene.
There were no passengers in the vehicle and the driver was not injured.
