A community service will be held on Sept. 11 at 9:30 a.m. to recognize local first responders and remember the tragedy of Sept. 11, 2001. The event will be held at Gibson Pavilion and Episcopal Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew, 512 Broad St. in Kenbridge.
