The Lunenburg Lightning football teams went 2-2 against Charlotte County over the weekend, with the minors and junior varsity teams winning and the flag and varsity teams losing.

Despite its 6-0 loss, the Lightning varsity squad has claimed the No. 2 seed in the playoffs and is set to play Saturday at 1 p.m. at Amelia. It will face off against either Amelia or Buckingham.
