Victoria Evangelical Presbyterian Church will present a Lenten season sermon series and Bible-discussion using the “Explore God” series.
According to church leaders, the “Explore God” initiative was “designed to make it easy for everyone, regardless of spiritual background, to explore God, and has been popular in cities and churches across the country through both sermon series and study-discussion groups, including churches in Richmond last year.”
The series is predicated upon exploration of “7 Big Questions” we all confront in life, beginning with “Does Life Have a Purpose?” “Is There a God?” and “Why Does God Allow Pain and Suffering?”
The church began a sermon series on the first Sunday in Lent, March 5, during its 9:30 a.m. service, and will continue through Easter — coupled with a Bible study discussion group meeting on Monday afternoons at 2 p.m. at the church.
No fees or purchase of materials are required to participate.

Victoria Presbyterian Church is beside the Victoria Restaurant on 8th Street in Victoria.
