The Central High School varsity golf team topped all of its opponents last week, notching both home and away victories.
The Chargers shot a 173 on Thursday at the Farmville Municipal Golf Course, besting Bluestone High School, which shot a 180, and Cumberland County High School, which did not have the required minimum of four players to generate an official team score.
Cole Williams led all golfers by shooting a nine-hole round of 38.
On Tuesday, Central defeated Buckingham County High School 174-221 at the Lunenburg Country Club. Cumberland, again, fielded only two players and thus could not compete officially.
Leading the Chargers and all golfers on the day were Williams and Cary Parrish, each of whom shot a 41.
Central hosts Goochland High School and Randolph-Henry High School on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Lunenburg Country Club.
