Betty Ann Robinson Yerby

Mrs. Betty Ann Robinson Yerby, age 62, of Brodnax, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017 at her residence. She was a postal clerk with the United States Postal Service for twenty-four years, serving at twenty two different postal centers and retiring from the Alberta Post Office. She also enjoyed serving at the Yerby Strawberry Farm where many friendships were made. Betty Ann is survived by her husband of forty-three years, W. I. Yerby, her son Norman I. Yerby of Richmond, three brothers; Charles Hill, Andrew Robinson and Martin Robinson all of South Hill, special friends; Virginia Gee of Kenbridge, Rebecca Floyd of Brodnax, Miranda Eley of Alberta, Wanda Lowell of La Crosse and the Dearborn Family. She was predeceased by a sister Marjorie Carter.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Williams United Methodist Church, 4670 Longview Dr., Kenbridge, Va. 23944 with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8:30 p.m. at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home.
