Autumn Days, the annual festival held in the Town of Victoria, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13, Victoria Town Manager Rodney Newton confirmed.

The town held a public planning meeting Tuesday to discuss the upcoming festival.

The daylong festival includes activities for the whole family. Last year’s event included a pet parade with awards given to the cutest animals, food for sale, crafts and a hay bale decorating contest among other events.

The festival this year is also set to coincide with the Theresa Matthews Memorial 5K, which is set to start at 7 a.m. The event honors Matthews, who died of cancer in 2014.
