Edward H. “Ed” Baine, Senior Vice President-Distribution Power Delivery Group, Dominion Power, was the guest speaker at Southside Virginia Community College’s ninth graduation of the Power Line Worker Training Program Dec. 18. He spoke to the largest graduating class in the school’s almost three-year history. A native of Lunenburg County, Baine is responsible for all facets of Dominion Energy’s regulated electric distribution business that provides electricity to about 2.6 million customer accounts in Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. He joined the company in 1995 as an associate engineer and has held numerous engineering, operational and management positions within the company. He assumed his current post in February 2016.
