Snow, ice on forecast Tuesday night into Wednesday

Lunenburg County is under a winter weather advisory for ice and snow that could cause issues with travel Tuesday night into Wednesday.
According to The National Weather Service (NWS) in Wakefield, the advisory is set to last from midnight Tuesday to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Snow is expected during the advisory, followed by sleet then freezing rain. Total snow accumulation of up to one inch and ice accumulation of up to one tenth of an inch expected, according to the NWS.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving, according to the NWS.
