On Monday, May 13, Lunenburg County Public Schools (LCPS) honored two local businesses with recognition on the Virginia School Boards Association Business Honor Roll for 2019. LCPS recognized Bliss of Lunenburg, Inc., represented by Clarence Clarke, owner, with Barry Carnes, chairman, Lunenburg County School Board, left; and Food Lion in Victoria, represented by Deveney Wilkerson, customer service manager pictured with Carnes, left. LCPS expresses appreciation for the ongoing support of the public schools that these businesses demonstrate. Their work has aided the community in focusing on the goal of providing the best public schools for every child who attends.
