Bruce McCants Davis, 73 of Lunenburg, VA joined our Heavenly Father on May 12, 2020. Devoted grandson of the late Marion and Elizabeth Stancill, he is survived by his mother Mildred Davis of Lunenburg Courthouse, his sister Joy and her husband Andrew Vincent, nephew and niece Ian and Elena Vincent all of Tampa Bay, Florida.

Bruce was a member of the Black Mountain Presbyterian Church in North Carolina.

He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart for sacrifice made on the battlefield. Upon Honorable Discharge, Bruce worked as a clerk for the Norfolk Southern Railway until his retirement.

Services will be private with burial in the Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria. Whenever work carried Bruce away from home, he was always profoundly grateful to return to his peaceful Lunenburg County.
