Victoria Fire and Rescue responded to an accident at the intersection of Beech Forest and Oral Oaks Roads, Tuesday morning, June 2, at approximately 10:30 a.m. Crews arrived to find an overturned tractor trailer crossing the roadway carrying trash. According to nearby residents, this would be the third overturned tractor trailer in a month in this same stretch of road. The driver stated that a deer ran out in front of the truck causing him to swerve. The driver escaped with no injuries.
