Pull draws crowd

Participants made the most of the Victoria Truck & Tractor Pull Saturday during the town’s Autumn Days festival at Victoria Railroad Park.
The pull, which raised funds for Victoria Fire & Rescue, featured an impressive variety of vehicles competing in six categories and of course, a roaring good time. Returning to the track was an area favorite, Big Juicy.
Top three truck pull winners for the 6400 Pro Street category are Bobbie White, who capped the category at 307 feet, Kathy Jewel at 305 feet and Pee Wee Taylor at 267 feet. Winners for the 6200 Open Street category were Brad Broy at 319 feet, Joe Sill at 313 feet and Henry Edmonds at 294 feet. Winners for the 6200 Small Block include Reva Claiborne at 299 feet, Henry Edmonds at 294 feet and Chris Avery at 293 feet. Winners for the 8000 Pro Diesel category are Greg Poore at 341 feet and Jamie Donati at 271 feet. Winners for the Street Diesel include Eddie Poore at 289 feet, Matthew Clary at 283 feet and Jamie Donati at 282 feet. Winners for Street Gas include Aubrey Thurston at 270 feet, Ben Simmons at 269 feet and Paul Bunch at 254 feet.
