Maxine Brown, 70 of Modest Creek Rd., Victoria, Va., departed this life on Oct. 12, 2017 at Trinity Memorial, Farmville. She leaves to cherish her memories, two sisters, Lucinda Brown of Victoria and Mary Ellen Allen of New York, NY; a devoted nephew that she helped raised, Calvin Brown (Athena) of Midlothian, Va.; two nieces, Shelia Brown of New York and Beverly Jackson (Kevin); a nephew Robert Allen (Michelle) of New Jersey.

A eulogistic memorial service was held Wednesday Oct. 18 in The All Faiths Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. Services by Thomas Funeral Home, Kenbridge. Va.
