Central High School’s varsity football team lost 45-13 to host William Campbell High School on Friday in the Class 1 Region B semifinals.

The No. 3 Chargers advanced to the regional semifinals after defeating visiting No. 6 Cumberland County High School 56-20 last week.

Central finished the 2017 season with an overall record of 5-7.
