A series of free classes detailing tips for good health, particularly on a budget, will be offered at the Victoria Public Library in February and March.
The classes will focus on understanding nutrition and exercise and provide solutions to help incorporate healthy choices into everyday life.
A flyer detailing the event cited that participants can take gifts relating to the classes home, including a cookbook, “Cooking is a SNAP” relating to healthy recipes using items under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP); an insulated lunch bag; an exercise stretch band and a food and refrigerator thermometer among other items.
The classes will take place on Tuesday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m. on Feb. 13, 20, 27 and March 6 and 13.
