Edith Belle Bradshaw celebrated her 100th birthday Wednesday. She was born and raised in Lunenburg County, and married Walton Brown Spruill. While he served in the U.S. Navy she resided in New York, Washington DC and Norfolk Naval Base before moving to Victoria in 1955. Edith was a stay at home mom, amazing cook, strong independent woman, quiet and gentle lady who loves gardening and is a member of Thrift Chapel United Methodist Church. She has two daughters, Judy and Brenda, four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
