Volunteer chefs Greg Tanner and Grayson Townsend assisted Rotarian Rob Williams in cooking more than 100 steak dinners Friday to benefit Central High School Kindness Matters program and Lunenburg 4-H Camp. The volunteers, who were working on behalf of The Rotary Club of Lunenburg, nearly sold out of the dinners and donated the last few to the local law enforcement on-shift. Eight Rotarians and several volunteers were on-site to serve and prepare takeout dinners and a full house of dine-in patrons. “Thanks to everyone who worked and purchased dinners to make the fundraiser a success,” a release from the Rotary Club of Lunenburg cited.
