Mildred Brown “Peggy” Gee, 87, of Kenbridge, Va. died Dec. 14, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan May Gee, Sr.; her parents, Irving Preston and Ada Baisey Gee, two sisters, Dorothy B. Tanner and Mary B. Tanner and two brothers, Irving Garland “Pop” Brown and Bernard Preston Brown. She is survived by her children, Mildred Mae Watson and Nathan M. Gee, Jr.; her granddaughter, Bonnie Elizabeth Watson; three brothers, Alford Roby Brown, Thomas Albert “Tib” Brown and Oscar Wallace Brown. Peggy enjoyed doing for others especially cooking. She was an active member of Ledbetter Christian Church where her dinner rolls will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to funeral services. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015 at the Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge at 2 pm. Interment in the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery, Kenbridge.
