Betty Bigger Echols, 79 of Victoria died peacefully at her home Tuesday December 15, 2015. She was the wife of the late John William “J.W.” Echols, Jr. and sister of the late W.H. Bigger, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Connie Boyd (Tommy), Janet Cooper, Johnna Childress (Jimmy), Anne Bohannon (John),  13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; sisters Maryann Kunnath and Nancy Childers (Alton), brother, David Bigger (Pat). Betty was a member of Victoria United Methodist Church. She was a bank teller for 31 years having retired from Bank of America. Graveside funeral services were held Friday, December 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria.
