The Lord always makes a way

I woke up this morning ready to go but before my foot hit the floor it seems that Satan was waiting. It seems as if he was saying, “I was waiting for you to get up because I’m sending all kinds of problems your way today. I have been watching you and you have not been praying and being as thankful as you should be.”
I have been playing this song by Debra Snipes called “Lord, I hope this day is good.” There’s a part that says I’m feeling empty and misunderstood but I know I should be thankful. That feeling did not last long. I said, Mary, old girl what’s wrong with you, why are you saying you are feeling empty? You have everything going for you, your health, strength and a sound mind. Didn’t you say your life was going to change at 80, well you are 81 now. How can you let the devil tell you who you are? Devil, I’m back, I’m my old self. Thank you, Jesus for loving me enough to understand me in my time of weakness.
Jesus knows that each of us have days when our guards are let down and we are vulnerable. We must watch as well as pray because Satan is waiting for a chance to do destruction all over the world.
Job 1:7 “And the Lord said unto Satan, whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, from going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.”
1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”
When the devil come roaring like a lion hit him with John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth In Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Be blessed in Jesus’ name.
