Adam T. Erby, formerly of Victoria, who has been employed by George Washington’s Mount Vernon for seven years, is now serving as Associate Curator. Considered an expert in historic interiors, Erby recently shared with the William Taylor Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution a number of updates taking place at Mount Vernon to return it to the interpretive date of 1799. His talk, which he had previously given at the Colonial Williamsburg Antiques Forum, was enhanced by a visual presentation detailing research and interior photographs that showed how efforts are being made to keep with accuracy the home of Washington as it was in his time. Shown here are Erby and his mother, Merny Erby, Regent of the William Taylor Chapter.
