The Keysville site of the Evans-Smith Leadership Training Institute will begin its third semester of the 2015-16 school year on Monday, Jan. 25, at 7 p.m.
As usual, classes are held at the Bluestone-Harmony Association Headquarters Building located at 635 Bluestone Road in Keysville. Each semester requires 12 hours of classroom activity and is achieved by meeting two hours each Monday for multiple weeks, depending upon the level of study. The institute is sponsored by Virginia Union University and the Baptist General Convention of Virginia. The Keysville site serves all of Southside Virginia.
According to Dr. Herman Lundy, coordinator of the Keysville site, all are welcome to enroll in this church leadership program. Registrations may be accepted on-site. Late registrations, if any, will be accepted only on Monday, Feb. 1. All churches, regardless of denomination, are welcomed to send potential students who love the Lord Jesus and desire to prepare themselves for church leadership. A list of classes available may be acquired by calling the coordinator. For additional information, contact Lundy at (434) 955-7036.
An orientation session for new students will be held at 6 p.m. on Jan. 25. All new students are asked to attend.
