Joseph Francis Patrick McGowan, age 76, of Victoria, passed away, Saturday, April 6, 2019. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Marie Stoner; and is survived by his wife, Virginia Anne McGowan; his daughters, Tracy Ritter, and Kelly Sander; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters; and three brothers. In Amelia, Joseph could most certainly be found at the Virginia Peacemakers Gun Club, demonstrating his cowboy fast draw. Joseph and his faithful canine companion, BlackJack, were well known to his friends, family and throughout the community, and he was very hardworking, and most importantly, a dedicated husband, and father to his loving family.
