The William Taylor Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution gathered for a luncheon meeting at Watersview Restaurant, Littleton, North Carolina, in April. Speaker David Gammon, State Genealogist for the North Carolina Sons of the American Revolution, is shown here being welcomed by William Taylor Chapter’s President Merny Erby of Victoria. A retired school administrator, Gammon has been actively involved in genealogical research for more than 40 years, for which he has received many accolades. His topic was “Ten Reasons Why We Should Read Colonial Court Minutes.”
