HOMECOMING/ REVIVAL, 11 a.m. at Star Light Baptist Church with pastor the Rev. Ray A. Smith. Dinner will be served. Revival will be held Aug. 12-16 with prayer and praise at 7 p.m. and the preached word at 7:30 p.m. with a different preacher and choir each night. Everyone is welcome.

AUGUST 13-15

REVIVAL, 7:30 p.m. nightly at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, 2104 Jonesboro Road, Kenbridge. There will be different guest evangelist and choirs each night.

AUGUST 17

IN CONCERT, 6 p.m. at Ontario Christian Church will be recording artist Michael Wayne Smith of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The church is located at 175 Old Kings Road (Hwy. 622 & 360), Drakes Branch. Come out and join us for an evening of great music.

AUGUST 18

84TH HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at Concord Baptist Church. Pastor Raleigh M. Bagley III will deliver the message with music provided by the New Light Baptist Church Senior Choir of Skipwith. The church is located on highway 47. The male chorus of the Concord Baptist Church will be in charge of prayer and praise. A meal will be served. All are welcome.

HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church,1197 Burkeville Road, Victoria. Pastor T. Hawkins will preach the message. Dinner will be served.

HOMECOMING, 11:30 a.m. at Unity Baptist Church, 542 Unity Road, Kenbridge. Guest preacher will be the Rev. Denise Davis of South Carolina. The public is welcome.

S.W.A.G/PRAISE PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at West Hill Baptist Church of Victoria sponsored by the youth. Come out to join in serving with a goal.

HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at Springfield Baptist Church,1784 Springfield Road, Meherrin. The Rev. Dr. Earl Pendleton, Assistant to the Pastor from Mt Zion First African Baptist Church, Charlottesville, will deliver the sermon.

AUGUST 18-23

HOMECOMING/ REVIVAL, 11 a.m. at Saint Matthew’s Baptist Church. Pastor Robinson will deliver the homecoming message. Dinner will be served. Revival services will be held Monday-Friday at 7:30 p.m. Pastor C. L. Hobbs, Mount Bethel Baptist Church, will be the guest messenger each night. Come out and share with us.

AUGUST 20-22

REVIVAL, 7:30 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 1197 Burkeville Road, Victoria with the Rev. Jerome Pratty of Zion Baptist Church, Purdy. Prayer and praise service at 7 p.m.

A different choir will perform each night. All are welcome.

AUGUST 21

HEALTH TALK, 11 a.m.-noon at Benchmark Community Bank, Kenbridge, hosted by Chase City Health & Rehab Center, Chase City. Regardless of age, we need to be proactive and take precautions to protect ourselves. This seminar is free and open to the public.

AUGUST 21-23

REVIVAL, 8 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, 1784 Springfield Road, Meherrin. The sermon will be delivered by a different clergy each night accompanied by their choir and ushers. Prayer and praise service will begin at 7:30 p.m.

AUGUST 27

MONTHLY MEETING, 6:30 p.m. of VFW Post 9954 and the VFW Auxiliary at the post home located on Marshall Avenue, Victoria.

SEPTEMBER 3

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE LECTURE, 6 p.m. at Victoria Library, 1417 Seventh St., Victoria, hosted by The Kenbridge-Victoria Lions Club. Guest speaker will be a representative from Madeline’s House. A light meal will be served. Reserve your seat by calling (434) 696-3557.
