After reviewing the governors mandate and talking to other areas, the decision has been made to open the Kenbridge Farmers Market May 2, as originally planned.
There are some mandate stipulations and guidelines that need to be followed to have a safe and productive market.
The market will have only one entrance and exit. All vendors will be required to wear gloves and a protective mask while at the market. All customers are urged to wear gloves and a protective mask. Hand sanitizer will be provided upon entry. Only vendors may handle the products for sale. Only after purchasing products may consumers touch the produce. No plastic bags will be allowed. Shoppers should only use paper bags, reusable cloth bags, boxes, baskets or crates to package products. No more than 10 people may be under the pavilion at a time.
Shoppers should continue to use social distancing of six feet or more and adhere to all rules and guidelines.
