Acoustics improved in Kenbridge chambers

Acoustics have been installed in the Kenbridge Council chambers.
The project had long been discussed and was completed in time for the council’s April meeting.
It was undertaken because several council members and some citizens have complained that it is hard to hear what people are saying in the meeting room.
“I think it looks great,” Mayor Emory Hodges said.
Hodges noted the project had been one of the desires of Thomas A. Palmore, who did not seek another term in the recent election. He said Palmore should be told that it has finally been accomplished.
