Ann Carter Edmondson, 89 of Victoria, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 15. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Wayne Edmondson; her parents, George Albert Carter Jr. and Gladys Crenshaw Carter; and her brother, George Franklin Carter.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Retired Senior Trooper, MacDonald J. “Mac” Edmondson of Victoria; a son, Carter Edmondson of Crewe; grandchildren, George Edmondson (Joyelle) and Karen Edmondson; two great-grandchildren, Kyrie and Norah.
Ann graduated from Victoria High School and retired as chief deputy clerk for Lunenburg County circuit court. She enjoyed shopping, entertaining, following the Central Chargers athletics and spending time with her family.
Ann was a devoted member of the Victoria United Methodist Church, where the family received friends Tuesday, Dec. 19, from 1 p.m. until the start of services at 2 p.m. Interment in the Lakeview Cemetery in Victoria.
