Palmer Springs Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual fall BBQ Chicken Dinner and Fox Hound bench show on Sept. 9. Dinner will be held from 4-7 p.m. The Fox Hound bench show will follow dinner at 7:30 p.m. Hounds will be cast at daylight on Sept. 10. The Palmer Springs Field Trial is an HGA Hunt featuring 10 places per class. Breakfast and lunch will be available during the hunt, with awards/trophies presented in the afternoon. Registration can be completed by contacting Tommy Clark at (434) 689-3037 before 10 p.m daily.  Palmer Springs Fire Department is located at 1697 Palmer Spring Road. All are welcome to attend.
