On Sunday, Aug. 21, members of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Victoria Post 9954 and the 9954 Auxiliary traveled to McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond for their annual trip. The members took food for sandwiches, desserts and drinks and hosted a bingo party for the veterans. Prizes for bingo included canteen books, small gifts and handmade jewelry items. Other items donated included handmade shawls, cosmetics and clothes for the homeless.
