The Central High School junior varsity football team suffered its first loss of 2016 after falling 20-16 to host Buckingham County on Thursday evening.

The Chargers entered the game with a 4-0 record, after defeating Prince Edward County, Randolph-Henry, William Campbell and Altavista in their games leading up to Thursday.
