Sorority elects new officers

“Launching New Dimensions of Service” is the theme that the Kappa Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will continue to implement. The program target areas of the sorority are educational enrichment, health promotion, family strengthening, environmental ownership and global impact. The 2017 officers of the Kappa Rho Omega Chapter pictured are, from left, Mary Morton Smith, president; Sasha Johnson, vice president; Katherine Lee, assistant secretary; Bianka Goodman, corresponding secretary and historian; Carolyn Smith-Lee, treasurer; Ruby Robinson, financial secretary; Joyce Booker, hostess; Avis Gresby, reporter; Jacqueline Gooden-Seay, parliamentarian and graduate advisor; and Elvira Ford, doorkeeper.
