Kavaliers improve to 8-4 on the links

Kenston Forest School’s varsity golf team improved to 8-4 overall and 6-1 in the Virginia Colonial Conference (VCC) on April 11 when it prevailed against three other teams in a match at Nottoway River Country Club in Blackstone.

The Kavaliers are tied for first in the VCC.

On April 11, they produced a team score of 177, Southampton Academy came in second with a score of 190, Brunswick Academy took third, shooting a 205, and Blessed Sacrament Huguenot Catholic School placed fourth with a score of 214.

Kenston Forest is set to return to the links Tuesday at 3 p.m. when it visits Powhatan to face Blessed Sacrament Huguenot.
