Kenston students helping others

Kenston Forest School students spent last Saturday helping others. Crenshaw United Methodist Church in Blackstone, hosted a Rise Against Hunger Event on Aug. 26. Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief organization that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable, mobilizing the necessary resources to end hunger by 2030. Volunteers packed 10,000 meals (rice, grain and vitamins) in individual packets. Pictured are, from left, Walker Green, Chance Bragg, Juniela Perez, Avery Bragg and Schuyler Green.
