Central High School’s varsity golf team went 3-1 across two matches last week.

On Aug. 24, the Chargers defeated Nottoway and Buckingham with a score of 182 in Appomattox.

On Aug. 22, Central placed second out of three teams in Kenbridge, producing a 171 score. Thomas and Joseph McDaniel each shot a 42, Cole Williams shot a 43 and Cary Parrish and Mason Elliott shot 44s.
