The Delta Alpha Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International met at the home of President Betsy Sheffield for its annual “Back-to-School” celebration recently. Among the projects that the members completed during the meeting was the assembling of “treat bags,” shown above, designed to welcome new teachers in the Lunenburg and Brunswick County Public Schools. The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is an honorary organization for key women educators. Members of the Delta Alpha Chapter teach at or are retired from positions primarily in Brunswick or Lunenburg.
