A box of love: Reminded of Jesus’ presence

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” — Psalm 20:14.

Have you ever felt Jesus’ comforting presence during challenging times? He wakes us and guides us throughout the day, especially in times of trouble. Jesus is doing this in our lives, bringing us peace and reassurance.

I went to the window to speak to Ethel, who was slowly fading. She looked gorgeous in her vivid colors, more beautiful than ever. Her leaves were slowly falling. She said, “Soon, I will be gone, but I will be back next year.”

Just as Ethel is fading and her life is coming to a close soon, we will say farewell to our loved ones and friends; just as Ethel says, we are coming back — more beautiful and loving with our Heavenly Father.

Each day, we express our love for Jesus and our fellow man. Jesus wants us to shine/show His light and tell the world He is coming back for us. This is a call to action, a motivation to be ready for His return.

We are witnessing storms and hurricanes. The Bible speaks of these things to come. Many places were destroyed, while others were left untouched. Psalm 91 speaks of it.

Jesus stands with open arms, waiting for us to come to Him. Come and lay all our troubles on Jesus. Jesus’ arms are so wide He can hold each of us. Take Jesus up on His offer and live for Him.

Be blessed in Jesus’ name.
