Another Top Five finish for Penick, Sangillo

Cameron Goble of Ringgold took the lead from Jordaine Penick on the third lap and pulled away to win the 20-lap HEAT Hornets Division race. The event was part of Saturday night’s Boone Tractor Race Night at South Boston Speedway.

The win was the second in a row for Goble who now has five wins on the season.

Dustin Francis of Nathalie trailed Goble by 2.88 seconds at the finish with Penick taking third place, Colton Moore of Nathalie finishing fourth and Max Sangillo of Farmville rounding out the top five finishers.

NASCAR racing returns to South Boston Speedway on Saturday night, August 3 with the Davenport Energy Race Night event. The first race of the night will get the green flag at 7 p.m.
