Victoria Christian Church will host a Maundy Thursday service on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Participants will commemorate the Lord’s Supper and review through scripture and music on Thursday and Friday of Holy Week. Michael “Dikie” Lacks, chairman of the church board, will speak at the Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday at 6:30 a.m. The annual event is a tradition that began in the church over 100 years ago. A light breakfast will follow the service. The church will worship again at 11 a.m. when Pastor Earl P. Pinchbeck Jr. will bring the morning message. There will be special music at all of the services.
