Kenston golfers four-peat

The Kenston Forest School golf team won its fourth consecutive VCC Conference golf title at Ft. Lee’s Cardinal Course by 18 strokes over runner-up Southampton Academy.
Cole Hagaman, playing over a water-logged course, shot a tournament best 84 and took away player of the year honors. Kenston finished with a conference record of 14-6-1 and an overall record of 16-10-1.
Kenston’s team included Cole Hagaman, of Lunenburg, Tyler Borum, of Blackstone, Sam Hodges, of Kenbridge, Graham Hayes, of South Hill, Colton Carter, of Crewe, and Josh Coover, of Petersburg. Kenston coaches, Keith Green and Dr. John Allen, were honored with the VCC coaches of the year awards.
