Twin Lakes State Park will hold several events over the weekend.
On Friday, the park will begin with a “Pick your poison” program. The program will be held at the interpretive circle and will last from 4-5 p.m.
The theme of the event will be learning about poison ivy and how the plant can shift shapes.
From 7:30-8 p.m. on Friday, the park will hold “Songs of Nature” at the campfire ring. Park rangers will help participants discover what natural music sounds like, while eating s’mores.
The park will then hold a 10 a.m.-12 p.m. class on Saturday focused on nature journaling.
From 11 a.m.-12 p.m. that day, there will be a fishing 101 class held at the interpretive circle, followed by an archery lesson from 2-3 p.m. at the archery range.
