The Central High School Drama Club participated in the James River District Theatre Competition at Goochland High School on Oct. 19. Students performed the one-act comedy Check Please, Take 2 by Jonathan Rand. The students placed second overall for the event as well as first place for the conference. Jonathan Clarke was awarded the outstanding actor award. The club will now compete at the regional competition at Essex High School on Saturday, Nov. 19.
