Rites Held For Lennice Conner Thompson

Lennice Conner Thompson, 90, of South Hill and formerly of Kenbridge, died January 25, 2017. She was the wife of the late John Allen Thompson and daughter of the late Julius Woodson Conner and Eva McChristian Conner.

She is survived by her brother, Sandy W. Conner; niece, Lynda C. True (Page); nephews, Richard S. Moody (Judy) and Michael D. Moody (Donna); great-niece, Tammy L. McGrath (Billy); great-nephew, William P. True, III (Liz); great-great-nieces, Alyson True, Delaney McGrath, Reagan True and Sidney True; and great-great-nephews, William P. True, IV and Jackson True.

Lennice was a member of Kenbridge Christian Church. She retired from Fort Pickett as public relations officer.

Graveside funeral services were held Friday, January 27 at 2 p.m. in the Crestview Memorial Park, South Hill.
