Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9954 is hosting a Valentine’s Dance on Saturday.

The event is open to the public and tickets can be purchased for $20 per couple.

“It is an excellent band,” said Post Commander Claude Tomlinson. “It’s only three hours.”

The event will begin at 9 p.m. and last until midnight. Classic rock and beach music will be provided by the Union Pacific Band.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own beverages and snacks.

“I think everyone will enjoy themselves,” Tomlinson said.

Money raised from the dance will help with the expansion of the VFW post.

The dance will be held at the post, located at 1000 Marshall Street in Victoria.
