Two vehicle accidents, one of which included a tractor trailer, took place Tuesday morning on Oral Oaks Road.
Corrine Geller, public relations director with Virginia State Police, said at 8:39 a.m., a 2004 Nissan was traveling north on Oral Oaks Road when it ran off the right side of the road, struck a tree and overturned.
Geller said the driver was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation, Geller said.
A second accident on Oral Oaks Road, Geller said, involved a tractor-trailer that was traveling northbound when it stopped to make a right turn.
A vehicle failed to stop in time, Geller said, and struck the side of the trailer.
Geller said the incident took place approximately 9:01 a.m.
There were no injuries in the incident and minimal damage to the vehicle was reported, Geller said.
