Lady Chargers fall in regional semifinals

Central High School’s varsity softball team suffered a difficult 13-0 defeat in the Region 1A East semifinals Wednesday against visiting Luray High School. Despite the loss, sophomore Emma Hart, pictured above, and the rest of the Lady Chargers had a strong season, finishing with a 15-8 overall record and their first regional win since 2013.
