Second suspect charged in fight

Thirty-seven-year-old Shaun Reeves and 48-year-old William Elwood Glass — who are charged with felonious assault and malicious wounding in connection with an alleged stabbing incident in Kenbridge — face a hearing regarding their charges on June 28.
The hearing for both men will take place in Lunenburg County General District Court at 10:30 a.m., court records indicate.
A preliminary hearing for the case took place May 17.
Reeves, of Kenbridge, was charged and arrested on March 11 in connection with the alleged stabbing incident.
Reeves faces a felony charge of assault and malicious wounding that resulted in a victim injury, according to court records.
Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Office Major D.J. Penland said William Elwood Glass, 48, of Kenbridge, is also charged with felony malicious wounding in connection to an alleged incident that occurred March 10.
Glass was arrested April 19, according to court records.
Glass’ charge of malicious wounding included assault with a male victim injured.
Additionally, Glass faces charges in connection to the assault of a police officer in a separate incident.
Penland said he couldn’t comment on factors that precipitated the incident.
