Kenston Forest School’s middle school (MS) and junior varsity (JV) girls basketball teams are off to winnings starts this season.

The Lady Kavaliers MS team is 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the Virginia Colonial Conference, while the Lady Kavaliers JV team is 2-1 overall.

Leaders on the MS team include Gracie Gunn, who is averaging 10 points per game, Shelby Gunn, who is averaging nine points per game, and Hanna Mahaney, who is chipping in an average of three points per game.

Shelby Gunn stands out on the JV team, averaging 7.6 points, eight rebounds and five steals per game. Mya Mahaney averages 7.3 points, four rebounds and six steals per game.
