The Lunenburg Branch NAACP visited each of the county schools on May 8 to honor faculty, in addition to administration and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week. Presenting sheet cakes, five representatives from the Lunenburg NAACP visited Victoria Elementary School, Kenbridge Elementary School, Lunenburg Middle School and Central High School from 7:30-10 a.m. to recognize and honor area teachers. Bus drivers in the division also received gift bags, organizer Patricia Harper-Tunley said.
